Our client is seeking a highly competent and experienced Structural Engineer to join their innovative team in Stellenbosch . You will be responsible for the design, analysis, and oversight of structural elements for a variety of construction projects, ensuring safety, stability, and compliance with all relevant codes and standards. This role requires a strong technical background, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with architects, project managers, and construction teams.

- Perform structural analysis and design for various building types and infrastructure, utilizing engineering principles and software.
- Prepare detailed structural drawings, calculations, and specifications for construction.
- Ensure designs comply with all applicable building codes, standards, and regulations.
- Collaborate with architects and other consultants to integrate structural designs into overall project plans.
- Provide technical support and oversight during the construction phase, addressing any structural issues that arise.
- Review shop drawings and material submittals to ensure compliance with design intent.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Structural Engineering or Civil Engineering with a structural focus.
- 5+ years of experience in structural design and analysis for construction projects.
- Proficiency in structural analysis software (e.g., SAP
2000, ETABS, STAAD.Pro) and CAD software. - Deep understanding of building materials (steel, concrete, timber) and construction methods.
- Professional Engineer (Pr Eng) registration with ECSA is highly desirable.
