Industrial Process Optimization Specialist

Our client is seeking a dedicated Industrial Process Optimization Specialist to join their operational team in Paarl . This role is essential for analyzing and improving the efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness of industrial processes. You will be responsible for identifying areas for enhancement, developing practical solutions, and overseeing their implementation to ensure sustained operational improvements. • Conduct detailed analysis of existing industrial processes to identify inefficiencies and areas for improvement.
• Develop and implement process optimization strategies using Lean, Six Sigma, or other relevant methodologies.
• Design and document new or modified processes, creating standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• Collaborate with production teams to implement process changes and provide training.
• Monitor process performance, collect data, and report on key metrics and improvements.
• Troubleshoot process issues and implement root cause solutions.

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in industrial process optimization or a similar role.
• Strong understanding of Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma principles.
• Proficiency in process mapping tools and data analysis techniques.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively on the shop floor in Paarl .
• Good communication and interpersonal skills for effective teamwork.
