Cultural Events Planner and Manager

About the Role

Our client is seeking a talented and experienced Cultural Events Planner and Manager to orchestrate a diverse calendar of artistic and cultural events in Stellenbosch . This role is critical in bringing festivals, performances, exhibitions, and community arts programs to life, ensuring exceptional experiences for attendees. You will manage all facets of event planning, from conceptualization and budgeting to execution and post-event analysis, working closely with artists, vendors, and community stakeholders.

• Develop and execute comprehensive event plans for a variety of cultural and artistic functions.
• Manage event budgets, negotiate contracts with vendors, and oversee logistical operations.

• Oversee marketing and promotion efforts for events, liaising with the communications team.

• Proven experience as an Events Planner or Manager , with a strong background in cultural or arts events.
• Excellent organizational and project management skills, with a track record of successfully delivering complex events.
• Strong negotiation and vendor management abilities.
• Proficiency in event management software and standard office tools.
• Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
