Event Coordinator - Wine Region

Our client is seeking a detail-oriented and creative Event Coordinator to manage and execute a variety of events for their renowned establishment in the picturesque wine region of Stellenbosch . This role involves overseeing all aspects of event planning, from conceptualization and budgeting to execution and post-event analysis, ensuring seamless and memorable experiences for clients and guests. You will work closely with culinary teams, sales, and operational staff to deliver exceptional service.

This hybrid role allows for flexible work arrangements, combining on-site event management with remote planning and administrative tasks.

• Plan, organize, and execute a wide range of events, including weddings, corporate functions, and wine tastings.
• Develop event budgets, manage expenditures, and ensure profitability targets are met.
• Coordinate with clients to understand their needs, preferences, and event objectives.
• Liaise with vendors, suppliers, and internal departments to ensure seamless event execution.
• Oversee event setup, logistics, staffing, and on-site management to ensure flawless delivery.
• Conduct post-event evaluations and client feedback sessions to identify areas for improvement.

• Proven experience as an Event Coordinator or in a similar event management role, preferably in hospitality or venue management.
• Strong understanding of event planning processes, budgeting, and vendor management.
• Excellent organizational, time management, and multitasking skills.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities, with strong client-facing experience.
• Proficiency in event management software and standard office productivity tools.
