Events Manager

Our client is seeking a highly organized and creative Events Manager to plan and execute impactful events in the Paarl area. This role is responsible for all aspects of event management, from conceptualization and budgeting to vendor management and post-event analysis. You will coordinate a variety of events, including fundraising galas, community workshops, and awareness campaigns, ensuring they are successful and align with our client's mission.

The ideal candidate has a proven ability to manage complex logistics and budgets, excellent communication skills, and a passion for creating memorable experiences, working in a hybrid capacity that requires both on-site coordination and remote planning.

• Plan, coordinate, and execute all aspects of organizational events, from inception to completion.
• Develop event budgets, negotiate with vendors, and manage contracts.
• Oversee event logistics, including venue selection, catering, A/V, and staffing.
• Create engaging event concepts and themes that align with organizational goals and audience.
• Manage event promotion, registration, and attendee communication.
• Conduct post-event evaluations and provide detailed reports on event success and financial performance.

• Proven experience in event planning and management, preferably in the non-profit or hospitality sector.
• Strong organizational skills, with meticulous attention to detail.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
• Experience with event management software and budgeting tools.
