Game UI​/UX Designer

Our client is seeking a talented and innovative Game UI/UX Designer to join their growing team in Stellenbosch . This role is crucial in defining the player's interaction with our games, ensuring an intuitive, engaging, and visually appealing user experience. You will be responsible for designing user interfaces, user flows, and overall interaction models that are both functional and aesthetically pleasing.

The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of game design principles, a passion for creating seamless user journeys, and the ability to translate complex requirements into elegant and user-friendly designs within a collaborative studio environment.

• Design intuitive and engaging user interfaces (UI) for games across multiple platforms.
• Create wireframes, mockups, prototypes, and user flow diagrams.
• Conduct user research and usability testing to gather feedback and inform design decisions.
• Collaborate with game designers, artists, and engineers to ensure UI/UX goals are met.
• Develop and maintain UI style guides and design systems.
• Iterate on designs based on feedback and performance data to optimize the player experience.

• Minimum 3 years of experience in UI/UX design , with a focus on video games.
• Proficiency in design and prototyping tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, or similar.
• Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and interaction design.
• Experience with creating visual assets for UI elements.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, able to work effectively in Stellenbosch .
• A portfolio showcasing successful UI/UX design projects, preferably in gaming.
