Events Coordinator - Sports & Functions

Our client seeks a creative and meticulous Events Coordinator specializing in sports events and functions in Paarl . This role is responsible for the planning, organization, and execution of a wide range of events, from local sporting competitions to corporate functions and private celebrations. You will manage all logistical aspects, liaise with clients and vendors, and ensure seamless event delivery that meets and exceeds expectations, fostering a positive reputation for the venue and its event services within the community.

• Manage the end-to-end planning and execution of sports events, conferences, banquets, and private functions.
• Liaise with clients to understand their event requirements, providing creative solutions and detailed proposals.
• Coordinate with vendors, including caterers, decorators, entertainment, and technical support, to ensure seamless service delivery.
• Develop event timelines, manage budgets, and oversee on-site event management to ensure smooth operations.
• Create marketing materials and promotional strategies for upcoming events.
• Conduct post-event evaluations and client feedback sessions to identify areas for improvement.

• Proven experience in event planning and coordination , preferably within a sports or hospitality setting.
• Excellent organizational, time management, and multitasking abilities.
