Event Operations Manager

Our client is seeking a dynamic and organized Event Operations Manager to join their team in Stellenbosch . This role is responsible for the planning, execution, and management of all operational aspects of various events, from initial concept to post-event analysis. You will work closely with clients, vendors, and internal teams to ensure successful and seamless event delivery. The ideal candidate will have a passion for events, exceptional organizational skills, and a proven ability to manage complex projects under pressure, contributing to the vibrant event landscape of the region.

• Oversee all operational logistics for events, including venue management, vendor coordination, and staffing.
• Develop detailed operational plans, timelines, and budgets for each event.
• Manage on-site operations during events, ensuring smooth execution and prompt resolution of issues.
• Coordinate with security, catering, technical, and other support services as required.
• Conduct post-event evaluations, gathering feedback and analyzing operational success.
• Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and licensing regulations for events.

• Bachelor's degree in Event Management, Hospitality, Business, or a related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in event operations management or a similar role.
• Proven ability to manage multiple events simultaneously and meet strict deadlines.
• Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.
• Proficiency in event management software and project management tools.
