Financial Manager

Financial Manager job vacancy in Stellenbosch.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Manage accounting, expenses, VAT, banking and management accounts for the South African entity.
• Prepare and monitor cash flow, budgets, forecasts and financial planning across the Group.
• Manage cost and profit centres and monitor overall financial performance.
• Oversee import costs, freight, exchange rate movements and sales margins.
• Prepare management accounts and P&Ls for multiple international entities.
• Manage financial reporting through Microsoft Dynamics and liaise with international finance teams.
• Coordinate with external accountants, banks, insurers, freight forwarders and other service providers.
• Analyse costs and identify opportunities to improve margins and reduce expenses.
• Manage payroll processing and commission-related financial administration.
• Support VAT compliance across multiple entities and countries.

Requirements:

• Strong experience in accounting and financial management.
• Experience with management accounts, cash flow planning, budgeting and forecasting.
• Experience managing multi-entity/international accounts.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Dynamics or similar ERP/accounting systems.
• Knowledge of VAT, import costs, freight, exchange rates and financial reporting.
• Strong cost-control and financial analysis skills.
• Ability to liaise effectively with international teams and external service providers.
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
