Finance Manager

A manufacturer of personal care products is looking for a Finance Manager to join their team. The Finance Manager will be responsible for providing accurate, timely and commercially meaningful financial information to support the management of the business. The role combines management accounting, financial reporting, manufacturing costing, cash-flow and inventory management, financial control, budgeting and forecasting, and business intelligence/reporting.

Degree in Accounting or Finance with at least 5 years’ post-graduate accounting/finance experience of which 3 years have been in a senior role. Experience in a manufacturing, production or factory environment essential including management accounting and manufacturing costing. Experience with ERP systems (especially Syspro), Power BI and advanced Excel required.

Analytical, commercially minded and intellectually curious. Highly accurate and detail-oriented without losing sight of the bigger picture. Systematic, disciplined and well organised. Able to work at pace and manage multiple deadlines. A strong communicator who can explain financial information clearly. Able to operate effectively in a dynamic manufacturing environment.
