Financial Controller

COFCO International South Africa (Pty) Ltd is looking for an experienced and dynamic Financial Controller to oversee the financial functions within our Corporate Control division. This role is responsible for ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting, while supporting the best practices in accounting and financial management across all operations.

• Relevant Qualification, Studying towards CIMA, CA, ACCA
• 4 Years relevant experience in a similar role
• 2 years’ experience in a leadership/people management role

• Financial month end reporting and reviews, including revaluation & translation
• Selling, General and Admin (SGA), including payroll journals, annual budget
• Internal & External Audit
• Fixed assets, including insurance, annual CAPEX budget, lease accounting
• Team management, training
• VAT review, submissions
• Other: payment & journal approvals, hedging instructions, broker & bank recons, treasury cash & dept reporting
• Back up to Reporting Controller

• Grain and Agri industry and commodities trading background
• Previous experience working for a multinational company
• SAP S4 Hana, SAP BPC

• Writing and Reporting

Reports to Corporate and Asset Controller.

Salary is market related basic salary with provident fund and medical aid benefits.
