Investment Banker Analyst

Our client is seeking a bright and ambitious Investment Banker Analyst to join their prestigious team in Stellenbosch. You will work directly with senior bankers, conducting in-depth financial analysis, preparing client materials, and supporting transaction execution.

• Perform financial modeling, valuation analysis (DCF, precedent transactions, comparable companies), and sensitivity analysis.
• Conduct industry and company research to support client engagements and business development efforts.
• Prepare client presentations, pitch books, and marketing materials for transactions.
• Assist in the execution of mergers and acquisitions, debt and equity offerings, and other corporate finance transactions.
• Coordinate with clients, legal counsel, and other advisors throughout the transaction process.
• Manage data rooms, due diligence processes, and internal transaction tracking.
• Support senior bankers in client meetings and negotiations.

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field from a top-tier institution.
• 1-3 years of relevant experience in investment banking, corporate finance, private equity, or related fields.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial modeling, and valuation techniques.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and financial databases (e.g., Bloomberg, CapIQ).
• Exceptional analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, and strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work long hours and meet demanding deadlines in a high-pressure environment.
