Senior Credit Analyst

Our client is seeking an experienced and meticulous Senior Credit Analyst to join their risk management team in Stellenbosch . This role is critical in assessing the creditworthiness of potential borrowers and existing clients, ensuring the financial institution maintains a healthy loan portfolio and mitigates risk effectively. You will conduct in-depth financial analysis, evaluate loan applications, and provide well-reasoned recommendations to lending committees.

• Develop and maintain credit risk models and assessment methodologies.
• Ensure compliance with internal credit policies, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices.

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related quantitative field.
• Minimum of 6 years of experience in credit analysis, commercial lending, or risk management.
• Proficiency in financial statement analysis, cash flow analysis, and ratio analysis.
• Strong understanding of credit risk assessment, loan structuring, and collateral valuation.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and written communication skills.
