About the Role
Our client is looking for a data-driven and analytical E-commerce & Social Media Analyst to join their team in Stellenbosch . This pivotal role involves dissecting performance data from online sales channels and social media platforms to uncover insights, identify trends, and provide strategic recommendations that drive growth and optimize marketing efforts. You will be instrumental in translating complex data into clear, actionable intelligence for the marketing and sales teams, ensuring that campaigns are effective and customer engagement is maximized within the e-commerce and social media landscape.

- Collect, analyze, and interpret data from various e-commerce platforms and social media channels to assess performance against key metrics.
- Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to track website traffic, conversion rates, customer acquisition cost, social media engagement, and ROI of marketing campaigns.
- Identify key trends, patterns, and insights within the data to inform strategic decision-making for marketing, sales, and product development.
- Conduct A/B testing and other experimental analyses to optimize website performance, user experience, and marketing campaign effectiveness.
- Provide regular performance reports and present findings and recommendations to stakeholders, including senior management.
- Stay current with analytics tools, methodologies, and best practices in the fields of e-commerce and social media analytics .
- Proven experience as a Data Analyst, Web Analyst, or similar role, with a focus on e-commerce and social media data .
- Proficiency in using web analytics tools such as Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, and social media analytics platforms.
- Strong understanding of statistical analysis, data modeling, and A/B testing methodologies.
- Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to translate data into actionable business insights.
- Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Economics, Marketing, Computer Science, or a related quantitative field.
