Senior Smart Contract Developer

Our client is looking for a highly skilled Senior Smart Contract Developer to join their innovative team in Stellenbosch . You will be responsible for designing, developing, and auditing secure and efficient smart contracts that form the backbone of our client's decentralized applications and platforms. This role requires a meticulous approach to coding, a deep understanding of blockchain security principles, and a passion for pushing the boundaries of what's possible in the crypto and blockchain space.

You will work closely with product and engineering teams to bring cutting-edge solutions to life.

• Write, test, and deploy secure and efficient smart contracts for various blockchain platforms.
• Conduct thorough audits and code reviews of smart contracts to identify and mitigate vulnerabilities.
• Collaborate with product managers and engineers to translate business requirements into functional smart contract logic.
• Optimize smart contract performance and gas usage for cost-effectiveness.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for smart contracts and related protocols.
• Stay updated on the latest trends, tools, and best practices in smart contract development and blockchain security.

• 5+ years of software development experience, with at least 3 years focused on smart contract development.
• Proficiency in Solidity and experience with blockchain platforms like Ethereum, Binance Smart Chain, or Polygon.
• Strong understanding of blockchain architecture, cryptography, and decentralized application design patterns.
• Experience with common smart contract development frameworks and tools (e.g., Hardhat, Truffle).
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
