Lead UI​/UX Designer

Our client is looking for a visionary Lead UI/UX Designer to guide their product design efforts in Stellenbosch . This role involves overseeing the user interface and user experience design for their digital products, ensuring they are intuitive, engaging, and aesthetically pleasing. You will lead a team of designers, collaborate with product managers and engineers, and champion user-centered design principles throughout the development lifecycle.

• Lead the design and development of intuitive user interfaces and seamless user experiences for web and mobile applications.
• Conduct user research, usability testing, and data analysis to inform design decisions.
• Create wireframes, prototypes, user flows, and high-fidelity mockups to effectively communicate design concepts.
• Mentor and guide a team of UI/UX designers, providing constructive feedback and fostering professional growth.
• Collaborate closely with product management and engineering teams to ensure successful implementation of designs.

• Minimum of 6 years of experience in UI/UX design , with a significant portion in a lead or senior capacity.
• Proven track record of designing successful and user-friendly digital products.
• Proficiency in design and prototyping tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or InVision.
• Strong understanding of user-centered design principles, interaction design, and visual design.
