Senior Cloud Solutions Architect

Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Cloud Solutions Architect to guide their cloud strategy and implementation in Stellenbosch . This strategic role involves designing, developing, and overseeing cloud infrastructure and solutions that meet business objectives, ensuring scalability, security, and cost-effectiveness. You will work closely with engineering, operations, and business stakeholders to define architectural roadmaps and best practices. • Design and architect robust, scalable, and secure cloud solutions on platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Develop architectural blueprints and implementation plans for cloud migration and modernization projects.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance to engineering teams throughout the solution lifecycle.
• Evaluate and recommend cloud services, tools, and technologies to meet business requirements.
• Ensure adherence to cloud security best practices and compliance standards.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into technical solutions.

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 7+ years of experience in IT infrastructure, software development, or systems engineering, with a significant focus on cloud computing.
• Proven experience designing and implementing complex solutions on major cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Deep understanding of cloud networking, security, compute, storage, and database services.
• Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Cloud Formation).
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
