As a Data Analyst III, you'll operate at the intersection of data, strategy and leadership. This isn't an individual contributor role — you'll lead, mentor and influence, using data to shape how the business thinks and moves
- Make data accessible and meaningful to stakeholders across the organisation
- Transform complex datasets into clear insights that senior decision-makers act on
- Identify trends, patterns and opportunities that drive informed business decisions
- Align data analysis with business strategy and goals
- Provide data-driven recommendations to senior management and influence decision-making
- Lead and mentor less experienced analysts and data teams — sharing knowledge and building capability across the organisation
- Oversee adherence to industry regulations and compliance requirements in the analytics space
- At least 8 years of experience in data analysis, with a significant portion in the financial services or banking sector
- Proven track record leading large-scale data analysis projects and driving business impact through data insights
- Mastery of advanced data analysis tools — SQL, Python, R, Tableau and Power BI
- Experience with machine learning algorithms and their application in predictive analytics
- Aligning data analysis with business strategy and goals
- Providing data-driven recommendations to senior management and influencing decision-making
- Leading and mentoring less experienced analysts and data teams — knowledge sharing and training
- Overseeing adherence to industry regulations and compliance requirements in the analytics space
- Market analysis and understanding of economic factors affecting the business
- Honours Degree in Analytical/Data/Technical or Other
- Expert mastery in SQL, including query optimization, database design, and ETL processes.
- Expertise in designing and implementing complex dashboards and visualizations.
- Knowledge of machine learning algorithms and their application in predictive analytics.
- Advanced programming skills in Python or R, including experience with machine learning libraries (e.g., scikit-learn, Tensor Flow).
- Proficiency in advanced statistical modelling techniques and their application in financial analysis.
- Expertise in advanced predictive analytics techniques and their application in financial services.
- Ability to derive strategic insights from data and align them with business goals.
