Our client is seeking a vigilant and expert Blockchain Security Auditor to bolster their security operations in Stellenbosch . In this vital role, you will be responsible for identifying vulnerabilities and ensuring the security and integrity of blockchain projects, smart contracts, and decentralized applications. You will conduct in-depth analyses and provide critical recommendations to mitigate risks and protect assets. Key Responsibilities- Perform comprehensive security audits of smart contracts , blockchain protocols, and dApps.
- Identify potential vulnerabilities, bugs, and security flaws using static and dynamic analysis techniques.
- Provide detailed reports with actionable recommendations for mitigating identified risks.
- Develop and implement security testing methodologies and tools specific to blockchain technologies.
- Stay updated on the latest threats, attack vectors, and best practices in blockchain security.
- Collaborate with development teams to ensure security is integrated throughout the project lifecycle.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Proven experience (4+ years) in cybersecurity, with a significant focus on blockchain security and smart contract auditing.
- Deep understanding of blockchain architecture, cryptography, and consensus mechanisms.
- Proficiency in analyzing code written in languages like Solidity, Rust, or Vyper.
- Experience with security assessment tools and methodologies.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
