E-commerce Operations Coordinator

About the Role

Our client is looking for an organized and proactive E-commerce Operations Coordinator to ensure the smooth and efficient running of their online store. This role is pivotal in managing inventory, processing orders, and coordinating logistics to deliver an excellent customer experience. You will be the backbone of our online sales operations, working closely with suppliers, fulfillment partners, and customer service teams.

This is an on-site position that requires hands‑on involvement in the daily operational flow.

• Manage and maintain accurate inventory levels across all e-commerce channels.
• Process and track online orders from placement through to fulfillment and delivery.
• Coordinate with third-party logistics (3PL) providers to ensure timely dispatch and delivery of goods.
• Handle customer inquiries related to orders, shipping, and returns, providing timely resolutions.
• Monitor shipping performance and identify opportunities for process improvement.
• Generate regular reports on sales, inventory, and operational metrics.

• Previous experience in e-commerce operations, logistics, or supply chain management.
• Proficiency with inventory management software and order processing systems.
• Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• This role requires regular attendance at our Stellenbosch office.
