Senior Management Consultant - Operations & Supply Chain

About the Role

Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Management Consultant with expertise in Operations and Supply Chain to join their team in Stellenbosch . You will lead engagements focused on optimizing client operations, enhancing supply chain efficiency, and driving cost reductions. This role demands a deep understanding of operational best practices, logistics, procurement, and inventory management. You will guide clients through complex operational challenges, delivering practical solutions that improve performance and create competitive advantages within the Western Cape .

• Analyze and redesign complex supply chain networks and logistics operations.
• Develop strategies for inventory management, demand forecasting, and procurement optimization.
• Lead operational improvement initiatives, such as Lean manufacturing or Six Sigma projects.
• Assess operational capabilities and identify areas for technology adoption and process automation.
• Manage client relationships and lead project teams to ensure successful delivery of operational improvements.
• Develop business cases and implementation plans for supply chain and operations transformation.

• Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in operations management or supply chain consulting.
• Proven expertise in supply chain strategy, logistics, procurement, and operational excellence.
• Strong analytical skills with experience in quantitative modeling and data analysis.
• Excellent project management and leadership capabilities.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, comfortable advising senior executives.
• Relevant Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Operations Management, or Business.
