Logistics Coordinator

Our client is seeking an organized and proactive Logistics Coordinator to manage the flow of goods and materials for their operations based in Stellenbosch . This role is pivotal in ensuring timely delivery of products and raw materials, managing inventory, and optimizing supply chain efficiency. You will liaise with suppliers, transportation providers, and internal departments to coordinate shipments and resolve any logistical challenges.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, possesses strong communication skills, and thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

• Coordinate domestic and international shipments, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery.
• Manage inventory levels, track stock movements, and conduct regular stocktakes.
• Liaise with shipping companies, freight forwarders, and customs brokers to facilitate smooth transit.
• Prepare and process shipping documents, including bills of lading, customs declarations, and invoices.
• Monitor shipment progress and proactively address any delays or issues.
• Maintain accurate records of all logistics activities and supplier performance.

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 2-4 years of experience in logistics, supply chain, or warehouse management.
• Proficiency in logistics software and MS Office Suite, especially Excel.
• Strong understanding of import/export regulations and shipping procedures.
• Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
