Gym Manager

Our client is seeking an experienced and dynamic Gym Manager to oversee operations at their premier fitness facility in Stellenbosch . This leadership role involves managing staff, driving membership sales, ensuring exceptional member experience, and maintaining the facility's high standards. You will be instrumental in fostering a positive and motivating environment for both staff and members, contributing to the health and wellness landscape of the Western Cape .

This on-site management position requires strong leadership and operational acumen.

• Lead, train, and motivate a team of fitness professionals, front desk staff, and maintenance personnel.
• Develop and implement strategies to increase membership sales and retention.
• Oversee daily gym operations, ensuring a clean, safe, and welcoming environment.
• Manage budgets, control expenses, and optimize operational efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations.
• Handle member inquiries, concerns, and feedback promptly and professionally.
• Organize and promote gym events and community engagement initiatives.

• Proven experience in fitness facility management or a senior role within the fitness industry.
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrated success in sales and customer service management.
• Knowledge of fitness industry trends, equipment, and best practices.
• Proficiency in gym management software and standard office applications.
• Bachelor's degree in Sports Management, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
