Plant Operations Manager

Our client requires a seasoned Plant Operations Manager to oversee their manufacturing facility in Stellenbosch . This critical role involves managing all aspects of plant production, ensuring efficiency, safety, and quality standards are met and exceeded. You will lead a dedicated team of production staff, engineers, and technicians, implementing best practices in manufacturing and operational management. The ideal candidate has a strong engineering or operations background, exceptional leadership skills, and a commitment to continuous improvement in a fast-paced production environment, contributing to the company's reputation for excellence.

• Manage all day-to-day plant operations , including production scheduling, resource allocation, and workflow optimization.
• Ensure adherence to strict safety regulations, quality standards, and environmental compliance.
• Lead and develop the production team, fostering a culture of safety, efficiency, and continuous improvement.
• Implement and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for plant output, efficiency, and quality.
• Manage maintenance schedules and oversee equipment reliability to minimize downtime.

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, or Chemical) or Operations Management.
• Minimum of 6 years of experience in plant management or senior production roles.
