Through co‑management partnerships that unite governments, communities and donors, it restores vast transboundary landscapes that deliver measurable conservation and livelihood outcomes. Vision 2050 will secure 18 functional landscapes spanning 980,000 km², one of the world’s largest land‑conservation initiatives.

Job PurposePeace Parks is committed to Conservation m a Fund Development perspective, this is achieved by developing new and creative partnership opportunities, fostering lasting relationships, engagingly telling the Peace Park story, while also ensuring administrative and support processes run smoothly.
The role focuses on providing assistance with relationship development and maintenance with private donors who share Peace Parks’ vision. Support to the Team of Fund Developers may be requested on occasion.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES- Maintain a donor database and customer relationship management system
- Draft, donor letters, and other correspondence
- Support donor visits to the head office and to Peace Parks field programmes including planning, gathering quotes and hotel reservations
- Support in promotion of Peace Parks Legacy Programme and administration of the programme.
- An ability to support the team of Account Managers, to ensure the grant lifecycle from inception to close out
- Update Peace Parks’ online customer relationship management system to record and process opportunities, agreements, reports, thank you letters, campaigns and extract reports
- Compiling and supporting travel itineraries and quotations
- Support donor due diligence processes
- Developing high quality presentations and other communications materials
- A degree equivalent qualification in communications, social sciences, natural sciences or similar.
- A minimum of three years of demonstratable experience, which includes:
- Demonstrated administrative skills
- Demonstrated ability in maintaining and organising databases
- Experience in monitoring budgets
- Exceptional writing skills and communication (English) (ability to speak other languages will be advantageous)
- Solid co‑ordination and quality assurance skills
- Ability to do desktop research on donors and potential donors
- The ability to collate information from disparate sources to provide timely and impactful donor reports
- Ability to build relationships with staff in remote areas
- An ability to work under deadlines
- Willingness to travel in Africa as required
- Experience and ability to manage donor events
- Advanced computer skills, including Excel and D365 / other CRM processes/software
- Ability to create infographics/dashboards using tools such as Power BI
- Ability to design high‑quality presentations and other communications materials
- A solid grasp of Peace Parks' core business.
