About the Role
Our client is seeking a meticulous and observant FMCG Quality Control Inspector to join their team in Stellenbosch . You will be responsible for ensuring that all manufactured fast-moving consumer goods meet stringent quality standards and regulatory requirements before reaching the consumer. This role involves conducting regular inspections, documenting findings, and collaborating with production teams to address any quality deviations. The ideal candidate possesses a keen eye for detail, a strong understanding of quality assurance principles, and a commitment to upholding the highest standards of product integrity for our client's brands.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct routine inspections of raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods to ensure compliance with FMCG quality standards .
- Document all inspection results, identifying and reporting any non-conforming products or processes.
- Collaborate with the production team to investigate quality issues and implement corrective actions.
- Perform quality tests and use measurement tools as required to assess product specifications.
- Maintain accurate records of all quality control activities and ensure traceability of products.
- Stay updated on relevant quality regulations and industry best practices in the FMCG sector.
- Previous experience in a Quality Control or Quality Assurance role, preferably within the FMCG industry .
- Strong understanding of quality inspection techniques and methodologies.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to identify subtle defects.
- Proficiency in using measurement instruments and basic laboratory equipment.
- Good record-keeping and documentation skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively with production staff and management.
