Industrial Engineer - Quality Systems Management

About the Role

Our client is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Industrial Engineer with a strong background in quality systems management for their facility in Paarl . This on-site role is crucial for maintaining and improving the company's quality standards and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. You will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing quality control processes, conducting internal audits, and driving continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product reliability and customer satisfaction.

The successful candidate will be adept at integrating quality principles into operational workflows and fostering a culture of quality throughout the organization. Your work will directly contribute to the consistent delivery of high-quality products.

• Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive quality management systems (QMS) in accordance with industry standards (e.g., ISO 9001).
• Conduct regular internal audits to assess compliance with quality standards and identify areas for improvement.
• Analyze quality data, identify root causes of defects or non-conformances, and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPAs).
• Collaborate with production and engineering teams to integrate quality considerations into product design and manufacturing processes.
• Develop and deliver training programs on quality principles and procedures to employees at all levels.
• Monitor key quality metrics and report on performance to management, recommending strategies for continuous improvement.

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or a related technical field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in industrial engineering, with a significant focus on quality assurance and quality systems.
• Proven experience in developing and implementing ISO 9001 or similar quality management systems.
• Strong knowledge of statistical process control (SPC), root cause analysis techniques, and CAPA methodologies.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and auditing skills.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and drive change within an organization located in Paarl .
