Quality Control Supervisor - FMCG

Our client is seeking a dedicated and experienced Quality Control Supervisor to oversee product quality standards within their FMCG manufacturing operations in Stellenbosch, Western Cape . This role is critical for ensuring all products meet stringent quality and safety regulations before reaching consumers. You will lead a team of quality control technicians, implement robust testing procedures, and drive continuous improvement in quality management systems.

This is a key operational position for an individual passionate about maintaining the highest standards of quality in a fast-paced production environment.

• Supervise and guide the daily activities of the quality control team, ensuring adherence to protocols.
• Develop, implement, and monitor quality control procedures and testing methods for raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant food safety and quality regulations and standards.
• Analyze quality data, identify trends, and implement corrective actions to resolve quality issues.
• Maintain accurate records of quality control tests, inspections, and findings.

• Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Chemistry, Biology, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in quality control or quality assurance, with a significant portion in the FMCG industry .
• Proven experience in supervising a team and managing quality assurance processes.
• Strong knowledge of quality management systems (e.g., HACCP, ISO standards).
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
