Quality Control Technician - FMCG Food Production

Our client is seeking a dedicated and precise Quality Control Technician to join their FMCG food production facility in Stellenbosch, Western Cape . You will be responsible for ensuring that all products meet the highest standards of quality, safety, and consistency. This role involves conducting regular testing, monitoring production processes, and documenting findings to maintain compliance with industry regulations and company standards.

• Perform quality control tests on raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods.
• Monitor production processes to ensure adherence to quality and safety standards.
• Calibrate and maintain laboratory equipment used for quality testing.
• Document test results accurately and maintain detailed quality control records.
• Identify and report any non-conforming products or processes to the Quality Manager.
• Participate in internal audits and contribute to the continuous improvement of quality systems.

• National Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Chemistry, or a related field.
• 1-3 years of experience as a Quality Control Technician in an FMCG food production environment.
• Knowledge of quality management systems (e.g., HACCP, ISO 22000).
• Proficiency in laboratory testing procedures and equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced production setting.
