Quality Control Inspector - FMCG

Our client is seeking a meticulous and diligent Quality Control Inspector to join their FMCG manufacturing team in Stellenbosch . This role is critical in ensuring that all products meet stringent quality standards before they reach consumers. You will be responsible for conducting inspections, testing materials and finished goods, and identifying any deviations from quality specifications. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail and a commitment to maintaining the highest quality benchmarks in a fast-paced production environment.

• Conduct thorough inspections of raw materials, in-process materials, and finished products to ensure compliance with quality standards.
• Perform various tests and measurements using appropriate equipment to verify product specifications.
• Document inspection results, identifying any non-conformities and reporting them to the relevant departments.
• Implement and follow established quality control procedures and protocols.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing product quality and reducing defects.

• High school diploma or equivalent; a technical qualification in a relevant field is an advantage.
• Proven experience as a Quality Control Inspector or in a similar quality assurance role, preferably in the FMCG sector .
• Familiarity with quality control testing methods and equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in recording data.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team in a manufacturing setting.
