About the Role
Our client is actively seeking a talented and motivated Postdoctoral Research Fellow specializing in Genomics to join their esteemed, remote-first scientific research team. - Design and perform experiments related to genomics, including next-generation sequencing (NGS) library preparation and data analysis.
- Analyze large-scale genomic datasets using bioinformatics tools and statistical methods.
- Develop and implement novel computational approaches for genomic data interpretation.
- Collaborate with other researchers on interdisciplinary projects, contributing expertise in genomics.
- Prepare manuscripts for publication in peer-reviewed journals and present findings at scientific conferences.
- Stay current with the latest advancements in genomics and related technologies.
- Ph.D. in Genetics, Genomics, Bioinformatics, Molecular Biology, or a related field.
- Demonstrated experience in genomics research, including hands-on experience with NGS technologies.
- Proficiency in bioinformatics tools and programming languages (e.g., Python, R, Perl) for genomic data analysis.
- Strong understanding of statistical principles and their application to biological data.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and as part of an remote team.
- Proven ability to conduct independent research and communicate findings effectively.
