Senior AI Research Scientist

Our client is seeking a visionary Senior AI Research Scientist to spearhead groundbreaking research initiatives within their advanced AI lab in Stellenbosch. You will conduct theoretical and applied research, publish findings in top-tier conferences and journals, and contribute to the intellectual property of the company.

• Conduct fundamental and applied research in cutting-edge AI domains (e.g., deep learning, reinforcement learning, generative models).
• Develop novel algorithms and techniques to solve complex AI challenges.

• Publish research papers in leading AI conferences and journals, and present findings internally and externally.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to translate research breakthroughs into practical AI solutions.

• PhD in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or a related field.
• 6+ years of extensive research experience in AI/ML, with a strong publication record.
• Deep theoretical understanding of machine learning, deep learning, and related fields.
• Proficiency in programming languages (Python) and ML frameworks (Tensor Flow, PyTorch).
