About the Role
Our client is seeking a seasoned Retail Operations Manager to lead and optimize their retail presence within the FMCG sector in Stellenbosch, Western Cape . This hands-on role focuses on driving sales performance, ensuring exceptional customer service, and managing store operations efficiently. You will be responsible for staff training and development, inventory management, and implementing strategic initiatives to enhance the customer experience and boost profitability.
This is a key leadership position requiring strong operational acumen and a passion for retail excellence in the dynamic FMCG market.
- Oversee day-to-day retail operations, ensuring compliance with company standards and policies.
- Drive sales performance by implementing effective sales strategies and merchandising techniques.
- Manage inventory levels, minimize shrinkage, and ensure efficient stock rotation and replenishment.
- Lead, train, and motivate store staff to deliver outstanding customer service and achieve sales targets.
- Implement operational improvements to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve the overall customer journey.
- Monitor store performance metrics, analyze sales data, and develop action plans for improvement.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in retail management, preferably within the FMCG industry .
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and managing store operations successfully.
- Strong leadership, communication, and team management skills.
- Excellent understanding of retail best practices, inventory control, and customer service principles.
