About the Role

Our client is seeking a creative and detail-oriented Retail Visual Merchandiser to join their team on a contract basis for their stores in the Stellenbosch region. You will be responsible for creating visually appealing displays and store layouts that enhance the customer shopping experience and drive sales. Your expertise in visual merchandising will be key to presenting products attractively, reflecting the brand's identity, and attracting customers to promotions and new arrivals within the sophisticated Stellenbosch retail market.

• Design and implement engaging window and in-store displays according to brand guidelines and seasonal themes.
• Collaborate with store management and marketing teams to execute visual merchandising strategies that align with sales objectives.
• Ensure all merchandise is displayed attractively, logically, and in accordance with store presentation standards.
• Monitor stock levels and work closely with sales associates to ensure displays are kept fresh and well-maintained.
• Adapt visual merchandising plans based on store performance, customer feedback, and emerging retail trends in Stellenbosch .

• Proven experience as a Visual Merchandiser or in a similar role within the retail industry.
• Strong understanding of visual merchandising principles, color theory, and spatial design.
• Creative flair and an eye for detail, with the ability to translate brand concepts into compelling displays.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise effectively with store teams.
• Ability to work independently and manage project timelines effectively, often within store operating hours in Stellenbosch .
