Stock Controller

Our client is looking for a meticulous and organized Stock Controller to manage inventory effectively for their retail operations in Stellenbosch . This role is vital for ensuring accuracy in stock levels, minimizing discrepancies, and optimizing stock flow to meet customer demand. You will be responsible for maintaining precise inventory records, conducting regular audits, and working closely with the sales and logistics teams to ensure efficient stock management, directly impacting the store's profitability and operational efficiency.

• Oversee and maintain accurate inventory records using the company's stock management system.
• Conduct regular stock takes and cycle counts to verify inventory accuracy.
• Investigate and resolve stock discrepancies, identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions.
• Manage inbound and outbound stock movements, ensuring correct documentation and processing.
• Monitor stock levels, identify slow-moving items, and report on stock aging.
• Collaborate with purchasing and sales teams to forecast stock needs and manage reordering processes.

• Proven experience in stock control, inventory management, or a similar logistics role.
• Proficiency with inventory management software and POS systems.
