Retail Manager

We are currently looking for a Retail Manager for a permanent management position based in Stellenbosch, Western Cape.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Oversee the day-to-day operations of a combined retail, fuel station and fast-food business.
• Manage store opening and closing across weekdays, weekends and public holidays.
• Complete shift cash-ups, reconciliations and consolidated cash-up reporting.
• Manage supplier ordering and ensure sufficient stock availability.
• Oversee inventory and general stock control.
• Assist with minor IT and point-of-sale (POS) issues.
• Support smooth operations across businesses operating seven days a week.

Requirements:

• Previous retail experience at a management or junior management level.
• Experience with cash-ups, reconciliations and stock management.
• Basic IT and POS system experience.
• Strong organisational and problem-solving skills.
• Trustworthy, responsible and reliable.
• Able to take ownership and work independently.
• Comfortable working within a seven-day retail environment, including weekends and public holidays.
