Customer Service Representative & Coordinator - Fine Foods Company

This highly recognized and prominent fine food merchant and wholesale supplier are a specialist hotel, restaurant and hospitality supplier to top-tier chefs and caterers across the Western Cape. They offer a wide range of speciality and gourmet products sourced from both local and overseas suppliers. Pro Staff Select  are recruiting for an exciting, dynamic and driven individual to join this fine foods company as a Customer Service Representative who will be responsible for calling on existing customers on their database for orders and following up on queries.

The successful candidate will report directly to the Customer Service Team Leader. This is an office-based position based in Stellenbosch. Experience in Fine Foods is essential and this position would suit someone with a Chef training background.

• At least 3 years Cheffing / FMCG or food industry experience preferred
• Hospitality administrative experience (restaurant, hotel & food experience) a significant advantage
• Able to talk on a technical level about food.
• Must have a minimum of 3 years-experience in the FMCG industry.
• Computer literate
• Strong planning and organisational skills
• Excellent sales track record
• Work well under pressure
• Own transport and valid driver's license an advantage

• Achieve a constant reasonable growth rate (within reasonable seasonal parameters) within the following areas:
  Entirely new customers Consumption of existing customers Product variety of existing customers
• Achieve daily and weekly set customer call rates
• Managing & achieving sales volumes, targets & KPI's
• Ensuring customer satisfaction
• General admin duties
• Checking orders placed before invoicing and updating daily sales figures.
• Supporting the sales team where necessary with certain tasks and functions.
