About the Role
Our client is looking for a motivated and customer-focused Insurance Sales Consultant to join their thriving branch in Stellenbosch . This role involves actively prospecting for new clients, understanding their insurance needs, and providing tailored solutions across a range of insurance products. You will build and maintain strong client relationships, offer expert advice, and guide customers through the sales process to achieve their protection goals.
The ideal candidate is persuasive, goal-oriented, and possesses excellent communication skills to excel in a client-facing sales environment within the beautiful Western Cape region.
- Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities through various lead generation channels.
- Consult with prospective and existing clients to understand their insurance requirements and recommend suitable policy options.
- Explain complex insurance product features, benefits, and policy terms clearly and concisely.
- Prepare and present customized insurance proposals and quotes to clients.
- Manage the sales pipeline effectively, ensuring timely follow-up and closing of deals.
- Provide excellent post-sale support and nurture client relationships to encourage loyalty and referrals.
- Proven track record in sales, preferably within the insurance or financial services industry.
- Strong understanding of various insurance products (e.g., life, short-term, health).
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a sales team in a dynamic environment.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills.
