About the Role

Our client is seeking a motivated and experienced Retail Sales Team Lead to guide and inspire their sales team in Stellenbosch . In this hybrid role, you will split your time between leading on the sales floor, coaching team members, and working remotely on strategic sales planning and analysis. Your primary focus will be on driving sales performance, enhancing customer engagement, and fostering a positive team culture.

• Lead, train, and motivate a team of retail sales associates to achieve sales targets.

• Monitor sales performance, analyze trends and develop strategies to improve results.
• Assist with inventory management, visual merchandising, and maintaining store standards.
• Conduct remote performance reviews and provide feedback to team members.
• Handle escalated customer issues and ensure timely resolution.

• Proven experience in retail sales , with a track record of exceeding sales goals.
• Previous leadership or supervisory experience in a retail setting.
• Strong understanding of sales techniques and customer service principles.
• Excellent communication, coaching, and motivational skills.
• Ability to work effectively both on the sales floor and remotely.
• Familiarity with POS systems and retail sales reporting.
