About the Role

Our client requires a dynamic Agricultural Sales Representative to serve the farming communities in and around Paarl. This role involves promoting and selling a range of agricultural products, including seeds, fertilizers, crop protection chemicals, and equipment. You will build strong relationships with farmers, understand their needs, and provide tailored solutions to enhance their productivity and profitability. The ideal candidate is passionate about agriculture, possesses excellent communication skills, and has a proven track record in sales within the agricultural sector.

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential agricultural clients.
• Promote and sell a diverse portfolio of agricultural products and services.
• Provide expert advice to farmers on product selection and application to meet their specific needs.
• Achieve and exceed sales targets within the assigned territory.
• Gather market intelligence and provide feedback to management on market trends and competitor activities.
• Conduct product demonstrations and participate in agricultural trade shows and events.

• Proven experience in sales, preferably within the agricultural industry.
• Strong understanding of farming practices, crops, and agricultural inputs relevant to the region.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage a sales territory effectively.
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel frequently within the designated area.
