Sales Representative - Wine & Spirits Industry

Our client is seeking a charismatic and driven Sales Representative to join their team, focusing on the distribution of premium wines and spirits throughout the Paarl, Western Cape region. This role is vital for expanding their client base among restaurants, bars, hotels, and retail outlets. You will be responsible for building strong relationships with buyers, understanding product portfolios, and driving sales through excellent product knowledge and persuasive communication.

• Develop and maintain strong sales relationships with clients in the on-premise (restaurants, bars) and off-premise (retail) channels.
• Promote and sell a diverse range of wines and spirits , highlighting key features and benefits.
• Achieve and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets for the assigned territory.
• Conduct product tastings and provide knowledgeable recommendations to clients.
• Manage inventory and order fulfillment processes efficiently.
• Gather market intelligence on competitor activities and customer feedback.

• Previous sales experience, preferably within the beverage , hospitality, or retail industry.
• A passion for and knowledge of wines and spirits.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
• Ability to build rapport and trust with clients.
• Must possess a valid driver's license and a reliable vehicle.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage a sales territory effectively.
