Senior Business Development Manager - Services

Our client, a highly respected recruitment consultancy situated in the beautiful Winelands region of Stellenbosch, Western Cape , is looking for an experienced and dynamic Senior Business Development Manager. This is a hybrid role, offering the perfect blend of remote flexibility and essential in-office strategic collaboration. You will be responsible for driving revenue growth by identifying new business opportunities, building strong client relationships, and expanding our client's market share within their specialized sectors.

The ideal candidate will possess a proven track record in sales and business development within the recruitment or professional services industry, coupled with a deep understanding of client needs and market dynamics. You will be a key player in our client's strategic expansion and success.

• Develop and execute strategic business development plans to achieve sales targets and expand the client base.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities through proactive market research, networking, and lead generation.
• Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with key decision-makers at prospective and existing client organizations.
• Understand client needs and articulate how our client's recruitment solutions can effectively address them.
• Prepare and deliver compelling proposals, presentations, and pitches to potential clients.
• Negotiate and close complex service agreements, ensuring profitability and client satisfaction.
• Collaborate closely with the recruitment delivery teams to ensure seamless service execution.
• Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market opportunities.
• Contribute to the development of marketing strategies and collateral.
• Achieve and exceed defined KPIs and revenue targets.

• A minimum of 5 years of proven experience in business development, sales, or client relationship management, preferably within the recruitment industry.
• Demonstrated success in achieving and exceeding sales targets in a competitive market.
• Strong understanding of the recruitment landscape, including various service offerings and talent acquisition strategies.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Ability to build rapport and credibility with senior-level executives.
• Strategic thinker with a proactive and results-oriented approach.
• Proficiency in CRM software and sales tools.
