Red Ember Recruitment, on behalf of our client, is seeking a Junior Security Supervisor to ensure the safety and security of guests, employees, and company assets. The role is responsible for implementing and monitoring systems, equipment, and procedures to provide outstanding security, first aid, and emergency services.

• Maintain quality in security, incident, and risk investigations.
• Ensure efficient service delivery to enhance guest satisfaction.
• Supervise security operations and security teams.
• Provide ongoing emergency training (drills) in safety and evacuations.
• Implement processes, policies, procedures, and standards to regulate security activities.
• Conduct regular risk assessments and implement preventative measures.
• Minimize incidents involving loss or damage of guest, company, or third‑party property.
• Maintain strict confidentiality of all guests, visitors, employees, and company information.
• Uphold the highest standards of personal and professional integrity.
• Reduce safety‑related (IOD) and security incidents.
• Promote compliance and awareness of health, safety, and security issues.
• Identify areas to reduce waste and achieve financial savings.
• Reduce hazards or risks across the property.

• Minimum of 2 years’ supervisory experience in security or a similar environment.
• PSIRA registered.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Firearm competency advantageous.

• Matric certificate.
• Completion of formal security education is beneficial.
• Strong communication skills.
• Critical thinking and observation skills to enable appropriate responses.
• Working knowledge of management practices and principles.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast‑paced environment.
• Teamwork, cross‑organizational collaboration, and the ability to build high‑performance teams.
