Social Worker - Family Support

Our client, a compassionate non-profit organization based in Stellenbosch , is actively seeking a dedicated Social Worker to provide essential family support services. This critical role involves working directly with families facing various challenges, offering guidance, resources, and interventions to promote stability and well-being. You will conduct assessments, develop intervention plans, and connect families with necessary community resources. • Conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessments of individuals and families.
• Develop and implement individualized service plans in collaboration with clients.
• Provide counseling and support services to address identified needs.
• Connect clients with appropriate community resources and services, facilitating referrals.
• Advocate for clients' rights and needs within various systems.
• Maintain accurate and confidential case records in compliance with ethical standards.

• Registered Social Worker with a valid South African Council for Social Service Professions (SACSSP) registration.
• Proven experience in family support, child welfare, or related social work fields.
• Strong knowledge of social welfare systems and community resources.
• Excellent counseling, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage a caseload effectively.
