About the Role

Our client seeks a skilled Commercial Van Driver to undertake regular delivery routes within the renowned Stellenbosch wine region and surrounding areas. This role is vital for ensuring timely and secure transport of goods to businesses and clients across the picturesque Western Cape . You will be responsible for navigating the unique road conditions of the region, managing your delivery schedule, and providing exceptional service.

The ideal candidate is dependable, possesses excellent driving skills, and a thorough understanding of local geography, contributing to the smooth operation of supply chains in this key economic area.

• Deliver goods efficiently and safely to various destinations within the Stellenbosch region and beyond.
• Ensure proper handling and loading/unloading of all items transported.
• Conduct daily inspections of the delivery van and report any maintenance requirements.
• Maintain accurate delivery logs and confirm receipt of goods with clients.
• Adhere strictly to all traffic laws and company safety standards.
• Provide a professional and courteous service to all customers encountered.

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record and experience driving commercial vans.
• Good knowledge of the roads and routes in the Stellenbosch , Paarl, and Franschhoek areas.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively to meet delivery objectives.
• Physical fitness to handle moderate lifting and movement of goods.
• Strong communication skills and a customer-focused approach.
• Must be punctual and reliable.
