Ground Operations Supervisor

Our client is looking for a dynamic and experienced Ground Operations Supervisor to lead their team at the Stellenbosch airfield. This role is essential for ensuring the safe, efficient, and timely handling of all aircraft on the ground, including passenger services, baggage handling, and ramp operations. You will be responsible for supervising ground crew, managing resources, and maintaining high operational standards.

• Supervise and coordinate the activities of the ground handling crew, including aircraft marshaling, loading, and servicing.

• Manage the efficient turnaround of aircraft, meeting strict time schedules.
• Train and mentor ground staff, fostering a culture of safety and professionalism.
• Liaise with pilots, airline representatives, and other airport personnel to facilitate smooth operations.
• Oversee the maintenance and proper use of ground support equipment (GSE).

• Proven experience in ground operations within the aviation industry, with supervisory experience preferred.
• Strong understanding of aircraft ground handling procedures, safety protocols, and regulatory requirements.
