The Stephenville Police Department is currently accepting applications for the position of Police Cadet. Police Cadet applicants must be at least 20 years old AND be 21 before academy graduation. Police Cadets will be assigned to the Tarrant County College Northwest Law Enforcement Academy for a period of approximately 25 weeks. Police Cadets must meet all requirements for licensing and successfully complete the basic peace officer program.

Upon successful graduation from the police academy the Police Cadet will become a licensed and sworn police officer. Completion of a City Application is required for all applicants.
