Machine Operator – Gritline

Work Schedule
:
Monday – Friday, 1:45 pm – 10:15 pm, with mandatory overtime as needed.

Pay
: $18.00 per hour.

• Count, measure, and weigh materials accurately.
• Perform heavy lifting on a daily basis of 50 lb. and up to 100 lb.
• Maintain quality orientation, safety awareness, and service orientation.
• Learn and apply hazardous material handling procedures.
• Prepare Gritline equipment for daily operations.
• Prepare grit mixes, sealers, and correct grit types and amounts into batches and manage proper gritting cycles.
• Make minor adjustments to equipment and/or cycles to obtain a quality product.
• Ensure all products meet quality standards.
• Learn and understand company mixes and material identification.
• Perform housekeeping in and around equipment and buildings daily.
• Learn all SOPs pertaining to this area for individual files.
• Other duties may be assigned.

• Use basic math skills (add, subtract, multiply, divide) across all units of measure using whole numbers.
• Use measuring tapes and other recording instruments.
• Be willing and able to obtain internal forklift qualifications and CCT qualifications when selected.
• Lift or move up to 50 lb regularly, occasionally up to 100 lb.
