Venteon and Harvard Resource Solutions are hiring a STAFF ACCOUNTANT to support a multi-location medical specialty practice in Sterling Heights, MI . You will work as part of the accounting team accomplishing daily and monthly activities. Good company and work environment!

POSITION TYPE: Full time. 100% in office.

PAY: $70,000 - $75,000 annual plus PTO and benefits

Requirements of the Staff Accountant:

• Bachelor degree in Accounting or Finance is required.
• Minimum 3-5 years of accounting experience at the Accountant level.
• Experience in the medical/health care industry is nice to have, not required.
• Experience providing support for multiple locations.
• Direct Accounting or Bookkeeping experience with general ledger, accounts payable and accounts receivable that include cash management.
• Organized and dependable person.
• Technical skills needed: MS Office Suite, Intermediate to advanced Excel, and Quick Books.

Duties of the Staff Accountant:

• Perform day-to-day accounting activities related to AP, AR, and Cash.
• Manage intercompany transactions and reporting for all entities.
• Setup and maintenance of vendors in the system. Review, code, enter and process vendor invoices for payment. Reconcile vendor statements.
• Prepare bank deposits for multiple locations. Post and reconcile cash received from multiple locations in the accounting system. Report payment information to the medical billing department. Resolve collection issues.
• Prepare journal entries, analysis, and account reconciliations. Provide support for the month end close process.
• Track the organizations fixed assets.
