Qualifications

• Certified Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC)
• Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field
• Valid state license to practice as a Speech-Language Pathologist
• Experience working with high school students, particularly those with special education needs
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Proficient in assessment and treatment of speech and language disorders
• Commitment to collaborative practices within multidisciplinary teams

Location:

Sterling Heights, MI

Responsibilities

• Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify student speech and language needs
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in accordance with IEP goals
• Provide direct therapy services to students requiring speech and language support
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to ensure integrated support
• Monitor student progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary
• Maintain comprehensive documentation of services provided and student progress
• Participate in staff meetings and professional development opportunities
